Goodbye 2010

Highlights
Started 2010 off with a trip to the Philippines.
I learned to dive.
I then traveled to Bali, Indonesia where I fell in love with sunsets.
I motorcycled around South Korea.
I went to a mime festival. I did a show. I am not a mime.
I went to a four day rock festival and camped there. Made lifelong friends. I also stood up for myself with a rude slap to someones face.
I lived in a house with a garden.
I spent time in China. I climbed the Great Wall. I ate scorpions. I did yoga in the Forbidden City.
I cut a man's ear off in a bar fight.
I fell in love. Deeply in love. I lost that love and a part of my soul with it.
I left Korea.
I received over 200 letters from students I taught telling me I changed their lives. I was somehow a role model.
I spent time in Boston with old friends. I spent time in NYC with old friends and new friends. I took random Vietnamese pills with Four Locos.
I stayed in Burlington. I met an old love and met a new flame.
I left. I started a roadtrip from Vermont to LA.
I saw Niagra Falls.
I got stoned in Amish country.
I camped illegally in 5 states.
I met up with a friend I had met in Korea, traveled with in Thailand and then we started an epic roadtrip to LA. Road names and all.
I was given 200 dollars in Texas by a stranger wishing me a safe journey.
I went to the Oklahoma State Fair
I spent the night in Albuquerque. Will never do that again.
I drank whiskey in the Grand Canyon.
I drank beer in the Palo Duro Canyon.
I spent the night in the Hilton Vegas.
I saw the Hoover Dam.
I went to 20 states and 5 countries
I read 17 books.
I bought my dog on a boat, a train, a motorcycle, a bus, a car an an airplane.
I arrived in Los Angeles. Got an apartment in North Hollywood with my cousin and best friend.
I met celebrities, got paid to be on TV shows and to go to clubs, modeled, ran out of money, got a waitressing job, held signs for cash an here I am. Writing this note. Telling you about my year. Hoping for another epic one to come. South America next? Who knows...
